has been a cold and snowy winter and we are all looking forward to
spring! The Board of Directors of the Cheektowaga Chamber of
Commerce and the various committees have been very busy coordinating a
number of events in the upcoming months and we think we have something
for everyone! So let’s shake off that cabin fever, get out and
enjoy some great events and networking!
Thursday, February 26, the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce
will host Cheektowaga CSI: Chamber Social and Informational Meeting
at the Cheektowaga Residence Inn, 107 Anderson Road from 5:00
pm to 6:30 pm. Please plan on joining us if you are new to the
Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce or if you have been a member and would
like to know more about all the benefits and opportunities you have

in for our prize drawings!
Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with the Microsoft
Store to provide cutting edge training to our members. Our
second training seminar – Getting Started with Constant Contact
- will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at Microsoft at the Walden
Galleria. Learn about Constant Contact’s software program
of email marketing. This seminar will include the general
account, how to develop an email campaign, send an email,
add a logo, change colors and text, add a link and insert images
or videos. We will also go over settings and preview the email.
You will also learn how to go into the reporting to measure the
success of your e-mail campaign. The seminar will begin at 8:30 am
(8:00 am for networking and light refreshments) and will end by 9:30
am. The seminar is limited to 20 attendees so make your

Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with the Small
Business Administration to bring a series of educational seminars
to our members. On Wednesday, March 11, we will host our
second educational seminar for 2015: SBA
Local Assistance. SBA
has many offices and resource partners that counsel, mentor and train
small business owners and entrepreneurs. At this seminar, you will
learn about three C’s of the Small Business Administration’s
programs: Capital - Business Financing, Counseling and
Training - Education, Information, Technical Assistance & Training
and Contracting – Procurement. The seminar will be held at SUNY
Empire State College, AppleTree Business Park, Suite 34.
The seminar will begin at 8:45 am with Registration and Networking
followed by the seminar from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Call the
