August 5 the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce hosted a Job
Fair at the Walden Galleria.
More than 30 employers and hundreds of potential employees
participated in the event. Potential
employees found job opportunities with a variety of companies and
employers found good, qualified candidates to fill these jobs!

their families! We always enjoy a fun night playing golf and the
hospitality of the staff at Broadway Driving Range and Miniature

Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with Microsoft
to provide cutting edge training to our members.
Our next training seminar – Utilizing
the Windows Ecosystem and Office 365–
will be held on Wednesday, September 3 at Microsoft at
the Walden Galleria. The
Windows Ecosystem makes information transfer from your phone, tablet
and computer seamless. In this training seminar you will learn about
Cloud storage and setup, data transfer between several employees and
the benefits of a full Microsoft ecosystem on all of your devices. The
seminar is limited to 20 attendees so make your reservation early!

Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with the Small
Business Administration to bring a series of educational seminars
to our members. On Wednesday,
September 10, we will host our first educational seminar: Federal
Contracting Opportunities for Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Small
seminar will be held at Empire State College, AppleTree Business Park,
Suite 34. The seminar will begin at 8:45 am
Registration and Networking followed by the seminar from 9:00 am to
10:30 am. The cost for
the seminar, which includes continental breakfast, is $12.

We will also celebrate the 75th Anniversary
